The whole community is involved

Our aim is simple and clear:
"To raise funds to build the school in Nkor and to encourage co-operation between our community and the community in Nkor."
In order to build the school we need a sense of community and co-operation between all the people involved. In Cameroon the village of Nkor is working together to realise the goal of a new school. In England we are raising money through the wider community.

Cameroon

In Nkor there are many people contributing to the success of the project. Father Edward Lukong, the Diocesan Project Commissioner, is overseeing the work and contracts and he sends project reports over to the NEF.

The new School Building Committee
Last December the new parish priest Father Charles Mbuntum appointed a School Building Committee to
encourage and monitor progress.

England

The NEF is run by Trustees and registered with the Charity Commission. Its main duty is to raise funds and awareness of the charity's work. By using local networks (schools, parishes, friends) we are expanding the number of people involved in the project.
